Forget-Me-Not

A whale is not like a fish in the sea.
A whale breathes air like you and me.

Beluga whales have a large forehead, a sign of their high intelligence. Beluga whales are, in fact, the smartest animals on earth with an average I.Q.  of 155, a level that would be considered near genius in humans.

Towards the end of the weekend show I suddenly remembered ---oh, my gosh, pictures! By then the crowds had cleared and displays did not look as full but other people managed to snap a few and sent them to me.

I displayed some of my plates and bowl around the cat tails and bog garden. I plan to do more of this next year and make some real birdbaths.

Mirinda had just retured from a week long workshop the night before and in the rush forgot the tent canopy but we imporvied. It lasted until the rain came so she moved her b eautiful jewels display inside.

Show weeks are always hectic, it's good to take moments and just relax. 

Comet is a good role model.

I came across a simple little essay this morning,

Sighting of a rare Rain Bird

It has been raining here it seems like forever. I did not mind it so much today because it brought out the elusive Rain Bird. These legendary birds have never been seen in our area!
